Tina

Tina is a Commercial 3/4 Boer 1/4 Nubian cross.  We were going to retire her, but since she throws such beautiful kids and has no problems, we decided to breed her once again.  Tina is by far the gentlest of all of our does, almost so gentle she needs to be "babysat" when we are working with equipment in her pasture.  Tina trusts everything and fears nothing...from pickups to bulldozers to chainsaws.  She is a sweet-natured doe and passes that trait on to her kids.  She also carries the spotted gene, and it comes out in her grandkids.   Her teats are clean 1 + 1 and she is a heavy milker.  UPDATE - Tina has come back into heat and therefore not bred for 2010.   She has been taken out of consideration for this year but we will breed her next fall.

Rowdy River Ranch Gretchen (ABGA #10367740)

~UPDATED PIC 11-05-09~  This Paint doe (DOB 02-17-07) above is the daughter of Tina (above), a Commercial 3/4 Boer 1/4 Nubian spotted doe and our traditional Pipeline Grandson R1010 T7 (Sky N50 Pipin' Hot x Senter Ozark P721).   Gretchen has a nice head, bone thickness, and awesome length.  You can't really tell by the pic but she has roan coloring throughout the white part of her hair.  She has 100% brown tail pigment and is clean teated 1+1.  She is almost as big as our full CODI / PCI does.  Her muscle and frame have really blossomed and she just keeps growing!  She is an EXCELLENT mother and a heavy milker.  In 2009, she raised triplets easily by herself and maintained body condition on pasture.
